Ava Parker designs underwear for a living. Only, she does not design the sexy stuff. Rather, she designs the ordinary, everyday
wear at Skiv-Ease. For a company that is not doing well, her line is the best in the business and continually sells very well. That is
why the Board of Directors has invited Ava to rescue the Cupid’s Beau line of Valentine’s Day men’s underwear. She has some
great ideas but the Board is wary. They want Ava to work closely with Justin Barrett, the company’s new financial consultant, to
ensure that Ava’s designs are a true success.

Justin is very intrigued by the shy but intelligent and sexy Ava. He really likes her ideas and believes in the line she is developing.
And he definitely wants to get more involved in the research aspects of her work. Justin wants Ava but somehow Ava cannot truly
believe he wants her. After all, she designs staid underwear for a living. Ava is not sexy, or so she believes. Justin sets out to
convince her otherwise. But Justin is a man on the move, determined to never settle in one spot for too long. Can he get close to
Ava without losing his heart and without hurting her?

BRIEFLY YOURS has sweet, spicy, and very amusing moments. Justin and Ava definitely spark something special in each other.
While Ava is definitely a bit shy at first, the more she gets to know Justin, the more she lets herself be free with him. He takes her
ideas seriously and gives positive feedback. She grows in confidence throughout the course of this story. I liked also how Justin
started to have real doubts about himself as the story went on, doubts about how his lifestyle was making him happy. Ava was
showing him another side of himself, a side he was only beginning to appreciate. BRIEFLY YOURS is a good mix of character
development and relationship growth. Ava and Justin start off one place in the novel but end up with new ideas, new feelings, and a
better appreciation for love.

One Jane’s birthday she gives her six friends a gift -- romance. Her party is at The Deep End, a club they
frequent. In the past they had all been unlucky at love, but Jane has met someone special and she’s hoping
her good luck will rub off on them while she spends the weekend with Adam.

Samantha -- Former ballerina Samantha plans to spend the night enjoying the company and body of Trevor.
Samantha wanted Trevor the moment she met him, but she wasn’t one to jump into bed with just anyone.
Trevor didn’t pressure her. They both knew this was a special relationship. Tonight she is ready to take their
relationship to the bedroom.

Annabel -- Annabel had been working hard to get the old farmhouse in shape. She’d purchased it when she’d
found out her husband Grayson had been unfaithful with two women. She’d decided to enjoy her new home
and her dog Oscar. Annabel had sworn off men until she saw Nick without his shirt; she’d hired him two
weeks ago as a handyman. She soon found out having Nick around was handier than she’d thought.

Delaney -- Delaney had waited around for Jane but when she didn’t show up decided to spend the night with
MacGrath. She’d been hurt when her engagement was broken. She needed a night of satisfaction, but
MacGrath wanted to be more than a one-night stand.

Natalie -- It had been quite a while since Natalie had any male companionship. She spent her time and energy
building up her veterinarian business. One evening when she was working the late shift, in rushed a gorgeous
man with a sick puppy. The next evening he showed up again, but this time to see Natalie.

Angelina -- It had been a year since Angelina had met Jake. The two had become fast friends but nothing
more. Angelina had come to care deeply for him, but didn’t know he cared for her. On the night of the party
he told her he didn’t want to be friends any more; he wanted more than friendship, he wanted her heart and
body.

Marley -- When her friends left, Marley was left alone at The Deep End. She loved to dance and made the
most of her time there. The bartender Brandon offered her a drink on the house and then offered her dinner.
She couldn’t believe a guy that good looking was asking her out. She’d never considered herself beautiful.
Soon the evening turned sensual.

“The Deep End” by Madison Martin is delightful light reading. Ms Martin offers readers six short vignettes
of erotic romance; the birthday party of their friend Jane is the thread that connects them. This is more than
an erotic book; this is a fun romance, filled with lots of sex and love. Fans of erotic romance will enjoy “The
Deep End.” I know I did.

Justin and Ava definitely sparkle together. Through the course of this book you can see the character growth for both Justin and
Ava. During different parts of the book the doubts and confidences that these two people have about themselves and the
relationship they have together make this book an enjoyable afternoon read. The Underwear company 'Skiv-Ease' made an
interesting backdrop for Briefly Yours: An Erotic Romance Novel.
